MITHRIL ORE AND WHITE STAND
Here is my hand-crafted reproduction of the
Mythical fragment of ore discovered by the
Dwarves
whilst mining in
Khazad-dûm.
Featured in the series The Lord of the
Rings: The Rings of Power, it was
given to Lord Elrond by Prince Durin.
The fragment of ore is carefully hand-crafted to reveal
the fine silvery veins of Mithril running through the
black rock.
Presented with an unique Elvish inspired stand made from
reconstituted white marble from the Carrera
region of Italy. It has the look and feel of
solid white marble.
The fragment of Mithril measures approx. 90mm x
43mm wide and weighs around 85g.
The white marble stand measures approx. 149mm
long x 92mm high. Weight is around 410g.
Inscribed into the sides of the stand are the
Elvish words "As light as a feather" and "As
hard as dragon scales".
Everything is hand-made by myself, so each
fragment of Mithril will have a unique
appearance.
The colour of the white marble stands may vary
slightly as each is hand-crafted.
